Mobile View not supported in Android mobile's

Hi ,

 

As mentioned in the subject, Fiori LPD and Standard Fiori App's are not proper responsive in Samsung Smart Phones(Android).

 

Issue :

1.

As we know View should be dynamically responsive as per the device access.
But it opens-up as Desktop View in mobile's accessing through SAP Fiori Client app which is suppose to be Mobile View.

 

2.

In iOS mobile's it opens up is Mobile View. The only issue here is OPTIONS( button which has User Preferences ) are not responsive/opens-up.

 

 

Please suggest the solution to resolve the issue.

 

Also, let me know option to replace our company logo instead of SAP FIORI CLIENT's app in mobile.

Make HANA exclusive Transactional App run on non-HANA

Hello,

 

I thought transactional Apps can run on both HANA and non-hana DB. But came across some Apps like Monitor PO Apps which says HANA exclusive?

 

Do we have an alternative of this or any "switching" mechanism to run this on non-HANA? Lastly, will it be possible to run this on non-HANA by extending the backend Odata services by using the BADIs or enhancment points available?

Reagrding SAP Fiori Client app source code

Hi Experts,

 

I know SAP Fiori client source code is part of SMP SDK which is licenced. For my earlier client, they have SMP licence, so we were able to download SMP SDK and created cordova based ios and android projects for customizations from market place. Currently we are working for a customer who doesn't have SMP licence. But this client is existing SAP ERP customer for SAP. So i would like to know, is it possible to get the code in any way through SAP even this client doesn't have SMP licence. Kindly advise.

I am unable to activate standard fiori app "Manage Purchase Orders". I have tried to solve the issue by doing steps given in https://scn.sap.com/thread/3891180 but Its still not working , After clicking on the list item it should navigate to other page but its giving 403(forbidden) on console.

Employee Lookup bluecrystal theme is not displayed correctly

Hi,

 

I created my own custom theme based on sap_bluecrystal and everything is working as expected but the Employee Lookup doesn't look right.  I originally thought this was something to do with my CSS so I removed it and went back to basics and it's still not right.  I then checked the SAP default version and this isn't right either. 

 

As you can see the object alignment is all wrong and looks awful!  I want to be able to use theme based on original SAP look and feel.

I'm running SAPUI5 version 1.28.19.  I upgraded in DEV to see if this made a difference but unfortunately not.

 

I've checked BSP Application objects HCM_EMP_LOOKUP and HCM_COMMON and can't see any issues.

 

I don't see any errors in GW application or error log.

 

Services are active.

 

Any ideas?

Constructor for SAP UI5 analytical table based on static data

Dear Experts,

Could someone please provide a working example of a SAP UI5 analytical table based on static data, i.e. not automatically generated based on an OData model?

 

We are aware of this example: SAPUI5 Explored

 

But this example generates the table based on the existing OData model, we are instead looking for an example how to instantiate https://sapui5.hana.ondemand.com/docs/api/symbols/sap.ui.table.AnalyticalTable.html based on static data? Any example in XML?

Fiori - My Timesheet hours (from-to) vs duration

Hi,

 

I’m implementing the version 2 of the My Timesheet app in Fiori and I noticed that it shows either two fields to indicate hours from-to or one field to indicate the duration, depending on the Data Entry Profile Configuration parameter “With clock times” but it does not show both of them at the same time, besides the WDA app for Portal which shows both.

 

We need both of them because depending on the attendance/absence type, the user has to fill one or the other.

 

My questions are:

  • Is there any way to make this possible just adjusting the Data Entry Profile?
  • Or do I have to use the app extensibility to do that? If so, how can I do it?

Creating a BusinessObjects destination within HCP to use for Fiori App?

Hello all,

 

Is it possible to create an oData destination within HCP that would connect to a BusinessObjects 4.1.  The purpose of this exercise is to be able to read data from BusinessObjects into a Fiori Launchpad on HCP.

 

I believe I've gotten the destination within HCP to be correct (http://server address:port/biprws).  However, when creating the Fiori app, I'm stuck at the "service url".  Nothing I enter seems to work.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

ScrollToLoad functionality not working

Hi Experts,

 

I am developing a fiori application using Nav Container (SAPUI5 Explored) and Responsive Table(SAPUI5 Explored).

I have a nav container which calls different views , which has Responsive table .And I have set growing="true" and growingScrollToLoad="true" for table.

 

 

But scroll to load functionality is not working because of nav container.

 

 

Can anyone provide solution to fix this big ?

Fiori Launchpad Tile Catalog sorted by Id's?!

Hi All,

 

I'm noting the Tile Catalog seems to have a sticky behaviour that I haven't figured which ui2, smicm or browser cache clears this after you transport updated roles; but more importantly, it seems that the Tile Catalog sorts itself by Id rather than by Name (after the sort order of the role that contains the catalogs).

 

Hence the select drop down on the Tile Catalog appears to an end user in a random order (especially if you consider different languages and remote catalogs with different id's like Smart Business Tiles).

 

So to my actual question - Is there a configurable way for the Fiori Launchpad to sort by Catalog Name rather than Id? (running SAP_UI 7.50 SP2)

Hello, experts!

I use 2 views, and made routing there between. It work.

 

After that I would like use dialog on View 2. I add button and module  'sap/m/Dialog', on View2.

I have a problem, because view2 dont work after that.

SAP Fiori My Team Calendar : Filter - All Employees/With Events

Hi Experts,

 

Greetings of the Day...

 

My query is with the Filter functionality in My Team Calendar App, does any one know if the Filter (All Employees/With Events) can be defaulted to All Employees instead of "With Events" without doing any enhancement/extending the standard app?

 

This is when we are logging into the app as a Manager, and under the My Peers Section I would like app to show the details of the all the Employees under the manager irrespective of the fact they may or may not have events.

Hello Experts,

 

I am facing a similar trouble in two SAP CRM fiori applications - My Appointments and My Tasks.

 

The notes created in CRM WEB UI are not visible in the mentioned fiori applications. All the necessary configurations are already in place but the issue does not get resolved.

 

Moreover in the fiori UI the Notes heading looks a little different than the others so I am thinking may be this is a UI issue and could be solved through an SAP note.

Hello All, We are planning to implement SAP Fiori with SMP and Web Dispathcer in the Front. As per the guide "http://help.sap.com/fiori_bs2013/helpdata/en/B3/936B54E949E530E10000000A44538D/frameset.htm" all the 3 layers are supposed to have CA signed SSL certificate while using Basic authentication. Although we are planning to have the same in Production I would like to know if we can we have only 1 CA signed SSL at the web dispatcher level inorder to expose to internet in DEV and QA. Will the data from Fiori reach custom fiori client in above scenerio or we will still get SSL error? Regards Sumit

SAP Fiori "My Paystubs" : Additional layer of password upon clicking of Tile.

Hello Experts,

 

1)  I have configured My PayStubs Fiori App. Upon Click of tile, I could able to see the data and the coresponding paystubs too.

 

Requirement:

--> After Clicking on Mypaystubs Tile in the Fiori Launchpad, it  should either 1) raise an additional new window or  2) Additional new popup or 3) it should navigate to another screen with two input fields username(should populate automatically) and an input field for entering the password. 

 

--->Once the user enters the password and the validation is passed, then only user should be able to see his/her corresponding Paystubs.

 

Its like After tile click and before displaying the data an additional layer of security/Functionality/validation.

 

 

Can any one of you help me out in advising what should be the efficient way of achieving this functionality. if possible with steps(Approach). Thanks

ECC Fiori app Check Price & Availability is not showing the result

Hello Experts,

 

We have configured ECC fiori app - Check Price and Availability and are encountering the below issue when using the app from the fiori launchpad:

 

Once the quantity and delivery date are supplied in the fiori app and Check button is pressed, nothing happens.

 

The error from the console is attached. Please suggest.
